Surviving the Golden Age reviews Factor’s Lawson Graham!

Surviving the Golden Age
just posted a review of Factor’s Lawson Graham. It seems that they enjoyed the record, but were disappointed with Factor’s experimentation with folk, rock and pop elements. We can’t fault them though, they’re a blog about hip hop.

But they do give a bit of kudos nevertheless, “Hip Hop producers are not generally the most free thinking bunch… That’s why it is important to have artists like Factor.” They understand that testing boundaries is one of the things that pushes music, and hip hop, forward. And it seems they enjoyed “The Fall of Captain EO” with Ceschi, “the track’s vivid imagery and catchy hook works incredibly well.” They even included a free mp3 version to download!

You can still buy this great summertime gem featuring tracks with Radical Face, Nomad, Sole, Ceschi, Pigeon John, 2Mex, Cars & Trains, Josh Martinez, Gregory Pepper and more with our partners, Circle Into Square!
