Fake Four Inc. is a small family music company based in New Haven, CT with members representing from California to Canada to Puerto Rico.
Anonymous Inc. has been the underlying name surrounding Ceschi and David Ramos’ music since 1995. Over that course of time the two brothers have been in numerous bands including post modern pop fusion band Toca (started with Xololanxinxo and Tommy V) and hardcore metal band Dead By Wednesday. In the past they have worked with everyone from Little Wings to Anticon to Project Blowed. Needless to say, genre is an abstract and broken notion in the world of Fake Four. A Fake Four record could be anything from Indie Folk, Rock or Pop, Hip Hop, Electronic, Psych, or Bossa Nova – as long as it pushes limits beyond the mundane or average it will always fit within this family of sounds.
Fake Four Music was originally the name of Ceschi Ramos’ publishing company started in 2007. After a disastrous record label fiasco and break up with the band Toca – in 2008, Tony Gilbert of Squids Eye Records suggested that the Anonymous Inc. and all of its friends and family should have an outlet to release their music whenever and however they felt like it. For their first release – Fake Four is collaborating with their good friends at Grimm Image Records in California to put out David Ramos’ This Up Here – a triumphant little album full of dirty keyboard sounds, airy harmonies and bittersweet nostalgia.
In 2008 and beyond – Fake Four will release quality sounds from an amazing community of friends and family.
Fake Four’s partner record labels are:Squids Eye Records and Grimm Image Records
