FREE SONG: Cars & Trains Covers Hymie’s Basement!

Tom Filepp, aka Car & Trains, just keeps staying busy, anxious for his upcoming release of The Roots, The Leaves. Today, he wants to share a cover of Hymie’s Basement’s “21st Century Pop Song”. Tom does this song, a collaboration with anticon’s Why? and Fog’s Andrew Broder, some serious justice. In fact, he updates it to be quite the 21st century pop song! Listen or download here:
And if you’re used to buying your music at Wal-Mart and are easily offended by the use of the word “motherf*#ker” Tom has provided a clean version. This is the first time he’s used what is considered foul language on record.
ENJOY!
The Roots, The Leaves will be released January 26th.
